When does the Equipment Asset Tracker device use the asset's battery?

Any time the Equipment Asset Tracker is connected to an asset's battery, the Equipment Asset Tracker uses the asset’s battery instead of the internal battery. The internal battery is used when the device is not receiving power from the asset's battery.
