Connect the I/O harness

Plug the 24 pin Molex I/O harness connector into the Xirgo device, then connect the I/O harness wiring to optional accessories and inputs as described below.

Wire colors may change, always verify the pin number.

Fleet devices ship with powered diagnostic Y-cables which pass power from the OBDI-II/DLC diagnostic port through the Xirgo and over to the I/O harness' red wire at pin 1. Use a butt connector or crimp cap to connect the Batt+ red wire at pin 1 to the white ignition wire at pin 5 in order to supply voltage to accessories that require it, such as a Driver ID buzzer.

DO NOT connect the free red, white or black wires to the vehicle unless it requires legacy 3-wire power connections.

A: Input 1 is pin 6 blue wire (-) negative input

B: Input 2 is pin 7 orange (-) negative input

Input 3 is pin 8 purple (-) negative input, and is integrated to the Panic button Molex connector

Input 4 is pin 9 gray (-) negative input

  • A: Garmin 10-pin
  • B: Panic/Privacy 4-pin 
  • C: Driver ID Buzzer 3-pin 
  • D: Driver ID Reader 2-pin
