Troubleshooting: Extended View Cameras indicator lights

The SD locking switch must be closed for the DVR to record. If the SD locking switch is not closed, the DVR will beep when it is on.

The dual antenna has three LEDs that are used to identify the status of the DVR.

(A) Warning LED - red when illuminated

(B) Record LED - white when illuminated

(C) Network LED - white when illuminated

DVR statuses

LEDs can be on, off, or blinking as follows:

Troubleshooting

Issue	Troubleshooting steps
DVR emits a beep when on.	Close the SD locking switch to enable the DVR to record.
DVR not receiving power.	Observe the LEDs and refer to the LED state table. Check that the vehicle ignition is on. Check the connections on the DVR power cable.
No network connection. No GPS connection.	Observe the LEDs and refer to the LED state table. Check the dual antenna’s connections to the DVR. Ensure the vehicle is still in a location that has good network coverage and a clear line of sight to the sky.
DVR error (see LED state table) persists.	Contact Support.
Camera image doesn't display on app.	Check that the DVR is receiving power (see row above). Check the connections on the video harness. Check the connections on the video cable to the camera.
Monitor screen doesn't illuminate.	Check that the vehicle ignition is on. Press the monitor's power button. Check the connections on the cables to the monitor.
Camera image doesn't display on monitor.	Check that the monitor's screen is illuminated (see row above). Check that the DVR is receiving power (see row above). Check the connections on the video harness.
