Vehicle tracker current test reference chart

The following method is the only approved way to test the current/power consumption of any installed Verizon Connect vehicle tracker:

1. Set meter to (mA) range.

2. Remove fuse from installed wire.

3. Insert meter leads as shown. Unit will re-power.

4. Wait 5 minutes for meter to level (or 15 minutes on Garmin equipped devices).

5. Meter should read as shown on sample (+/- 5mA).
Note: A reading of 0.044 is equal to 44mA.

2. Park Lights

3. Dome Light(s)

4. Cellular Phone Charger (maintaining a full battery)

5. Garmin GPS (not connected to Verizon Connect)

6. Small Power inverter 400W (nothing connected, just on)

7. Car in ACC position (engine off)

8. Car in IGN position (engine off)

9. Car Alarm (armed)

10. Verizon Connect GPS
