Unassign a camera from a vehicle in Fleet

An admin can unassign a camera in the Admin>Fleet and device list.

Unassign a camera

An admin can unassign a camera in Fleet. Admins can:

  • Go to Admin>Fleet and device list

  • The Entire fleet tab shows a list of vehicles. Find the vehicle assigned to the dashcam you want to unassign

  • In the Actions column, click the 3 dots icon and select View camera.

Unassign a road-facing camera

The dashcam will be unassigned from the vehicle. If there is a driver-facing camera, it will remain assigned to the dashcam. No new videos will be available from any camera until the dashcam is assigned to a vehicle.

  • Click UNASSIGN FROM VEHICLE

  • Click UNASSIGN.

Unassign a driver-facing camera

  • Click UNASSIGN FROM DASHCAM

  • Click UNASSIGN.

No new videos will be available from any camera until it is assigned to a dashcam which is also assigned to a vehicle.

Unassign Extended View Cameras

Contact Support to unassign Extended View Cameras. You will need to tell us:

  • The name of the vehicle (as it appears in Fleet), VIN or tracker ESN

  • Camera ESN.

If you’re unable to unassign a camera from a vehicle in Fleet, contact Support to unassign it. You will need to tell us:

  • The name of the vehicle (as it appears in Fleet)

  • The camera serial number (on the back of the camera).
