Use RHI to install an Equipment Asset Tracker (EAT)

This article explains how to install an Equipment Asset Tracker (EAT) using the Reveal Hardware Installer (RHI) app.

Note

This article only covers installation steps that are done when using the RHI app. For more detailed installation information, see the Equipment Asset Tracker (EAT) section.

  1. Scan the device and select the product that you want to install.

  2. Review the installation guide and select GET STARTED.

  3. Complete the testing steps. For more information, select LED STATUS GUIDE. Tap CONTINUE.

  4. Select the wiring method used to perform the installation. For more information, select WIRING GUIDE.

  5. Tap CONNECT DEVICE. Connecting the device can take between 2 and 3 minutes.

  6. While the device is connecting, enter the asset details and tap SAVE.

  7. Once the device connects, a green pin will display. Tap on COMPLETE SETUP.

  8. Review the mounting instructions.

  9. Tap FINISH.
