Swapping a non-VDD Vehicle Tracker Unit

This article explains how to swap a standard vehicle tracker or Xirgo 3G using the Reveal Hardware Installer app.

  1. Select your work ticket.

  2. Review work ticket details.

  3. Enter or scan old VTU ESN.

  4. Select the standard box swap or Xirgo 3G swap.

  5. Review vehicle details.

  6. Tap the QA tab, to see the swap options.

  7. Select Swap Device.

  8. Scan the new device ESN.

  9. Add any notes that you want to include and tap SWAP.

  10. QA test any peripherals.

  11. Add notes if required (eg. failed QA tests).

  12. Tap Submit.
